The Free Fire Diwali Event 2026 is live now. The Free Fire India Diwali campaign runs from 28 October to 15 November 2026, and Diwali day is Sunday 8 November 2026.

Open the Events tab to see the festive rewards, missions, and timers before they end. This guide gives the confirmed dates first, then the reported items, the new guns, and how to claim them.

What we know so far

Garena launched Free Fire India on 28 October 2026 with a Diwali campaign that runs until 15 November 2026. The official Item Showcase video shows the festive items, and Diwali day is Sunday 8 November.

Free Fire’s Diwali celebrations usually mix free login and mission rewards with paid shop events. The 2026 celebration follows the same pattern, so check the free rewards first and spend diamonds on items you want.

New Diwali items: Blaze Raja, Blaze Rani and the fire set

The official Diwali trailer names the season’s two heroes: Blaze Raja, the flaming skull warrior, and Blaze Rani, the female warrior with a phoenix scythe. Both bundles carry the fire theme of the festival.

The M60 Jwalamukhi is the headline gun skin, an M60 wrapped in fire patterns. The Scythe Jwala is a melee weapon shaped like a fiery phoenix, and both items match the trailer’s blaze theme.

The Loot Box Chatai Bomb looks like a roll of firecrackers, and the Gloo Wall Waggor Chhaap summons a roaring lion made of fire. These two are the most festive items in the whole set.

Where the Diwali event fits in the 2026 calendar

The Diwali event follows two big 2026 events in the game. The Naruto Shippuden event ran from 16 September to 15 October, and the horror-themed Unseen event ran from 16 to 31 October 2026.

The Diwali campaign started on 28 October, so it follows the Unseen event without waiting for November. Finish your open Unseen missions first, because festive rewards do not carry over after their timers end.

Reported free rewards (not confirmed yet)

Early coverage reports several free items for the Diwali event, but Garena has not confirmed the free list yet. Treat this list as a watch list for day one, not as a promise.

The reported items are the Blaze Rani female bundle, the M60 Jwalamukhi skin, and the Gloo Wall Waggor Chhaap. They also include the Loot Box Chatai Bomb, Diwali avatar banners, and possibly a Magic Cube.

The Blaze Rani bundle is the headline outfit players show off in the lobby. Gun skins are cosmetic only and do not change damage, while the lion Gloo Wall shows up in nearly every fight.

The Magic Cube is the item to watch closely, because it unlocks store bundles of your choice. It is the least certain item, so do not plan around it until the event screen shows it.

How to claim free rewards

Update Free Fire to the latest version first, so the event tab loads correctly. Then open the game and go to the Events section from the lobby to see the Diwali banner and timer.

Read each event’s own missions and login streak as shown in the game. Free rewards usually come from consecutive-day logins and simple missions, but the exact missions appear only once the event is live.

Claim each reward from the event screen before the timer ends, because unclaimed rewards do not carry over. If a reward does not appear, restart the game and check the Events tab after the reset.

Real rewards never ask for your password, OTP, or login on an outside website. Ignore any video or post that asks you to download something or enter account details for Diwali rewards.

Paid items: Ring bundle, Mystery Shop, and flash sale

Not everything in the Carnival is free, and the paid paths are also reported, not confirmed. The Blaze Raja male bundle is reported to arrive through a Ring event, where you spend diamonds on spins.

A Diwali Dhamaka Mystery Shop is reported as part of the celebration. Mystery Shops normally show each player a personal set of discounted items, so what you see may differ from what your friends see.

A returning flash sale with discounts reported up to 90 percent is also expected. Flash sales are short windows, so check the shop during the sale instead of assuming the discount lasts the whole event.

The honest rule is take the free rewards first, and buy a paid bundle only if you want it and can afford it. A bundle is cosmetic, so it does not make you play better.

New guns in the November update

The October update added four new guns on 1 October, and they are live during the Diwali event. They are the Skorp SMG, the M7 rifle, the RPK light machine gun, and the Hawk sniper.

The Skorp is a fast SMG with strong armor penetration, built for close fights. The Hawk is a sniper that holds only two rounds but fires fast, so both shots must land.

The M7 is an automatic rifle for mid to long range, and the RPK is a machine gun with rifle handling. The FO12 shotgun was seen in testing, but Garena has not confirmed it live.

New Evo gun skins are also arriving, with the Cobra MP40 event from 2 November and the Cosmic AWM confirmed. Evo MP5 and N94 skins are reported for the Luck Royale, but not confirmed.

Weapon changes: Skorp down, Hawk up

Garena’s November weapon adjustment cuts the Skorp down. Its range is reduced, its armor penetration falls from 35 percent to 27 percent, and its max damage distance drops from 16.5 metres to 10 metres.

The Hawk goes the other way, with its reload speed increased by 40 percent. Skorp headshot damage is still strong, but the gun is weaker at long range than before.

The wider update also changed the old meta: the M590 shotgun lost range, AWM and Kar98k snipers move slower, and the Morse rifle is easier to spot. Expect closer fights and more Skorp rushes.

Diwali Carnival vs the Lucknow offline event

Two different Diwali happenings are easy to mix up, so here is the clean split. The in-game Diwali Carnival is the celebration inside Free Fire itself, with the free and paid rewards described above.

The Booyah Wali Diwali event in Lucknow on 17 and 18 October 2026 was an offline fan gathering at a mall. It already happened, and it had no in-game reward codes attached to it.

Reported return: Golden Shade Bundle

One more reported item stands apart: the Golden Shade Bundle, a rare bundle popular with collectors. Early coverage reports it may return for Diwali, after past appearances including a Mythical Ring event.

This one is not reported as free, so if it returns, expect a paid route such as a Ring event. Collectors should watch for it, but do not budget diamonds until Garena confirms it.

Free vs paid at a glance

Free, as reported: the female bundle, M60 skin, Gloo Wall skin, Loot Box skin, and avatar banners, plus possibly a Magic Cube. All of them come through login and mission rewards.

Paid, as reported: the male bundle through a Ring event, Mystery Shop discounts, and a flash sale up to 90 percent off. Joining the event itself is free for every player.

Day-one checklist

Update the game before the event so the tab loads on day one. On day one, open the Events tab and note each reward and its timer, because festive timers run short.

Claim the free login rewards first, then work through the missions, and do not spend diamonds before the free path is done. Check the Mystery Shop and flash sale after you have claimed the items.

Set a diamond limit before spinning anything in the Ring event, and stop at your limit. Festive rewards are time-limited, so claim them early and do not assume they will return next year.

Tips so you do not miss out

Open the Events tab every day once the event begins. Festive rewards are usually tied to daily logins, and one missed day can break a streak and cost you a reward.

Keep some free inventory space and check your vault before claiming bundles, so nothing gets stuck. Do not trust free reward code videos for this event, because most of them recycle old or fake codes.

If you want a festive new name to match your new bundle, try the Free Fire character names collection. A stylish name pairs well with a Diwali outfit, so pick one before the event ends.

Before you rename, check the rename price in the Free Fire name change cost guide. A rename costs diamonds unless you have a Name Change Card, so check first and avoid a surprise.

A: It is the Diwali M60 gun skin from the official trailer, an M60 wrapped in fire patterns and carried by Blaze Raja. It is a cosmetic skin, so it does not change the gun’s damage.
